1st time I saw a used skid steer sell for $40K or more at auction?
November 28, 2007. On a consignment auction in West Fargo, ND by The Steffes Group (www.steffesgroup.com) for a Bobcat T200 skid steer on tracks. It went for $42,500.
12 years ago.
These days of course not surprising to see a good late model used Skid Steer sell for over $40K at auction. I’ve actually seen them go as high as $77,000. Like all types and categories of farm equipment, Skid Steers have simply got more expensive over the years.
Both new and used.

2014 JCB 330 with 76 hours, sold: $43,000 (10/12/19 farm sale, Palco, KS)
2017 Bobcat T870 with 282 hours, sold: $60,250 (9/25/19 online sale, Seward, Neb.)
2018 JD 333G with 42 hours, sold: $75,000 (9/24/19 farm sale, Pond Creek, OK)
