We often talk about the rising cost of Tractors, Combines and Planters over the years.
Let’s not forget about Skid Steers too.
On a September 24, 2019 farm auction in north-central Oklahoma by the good folks at Lippard Auctioneering (www.lippardauctions.com) the 2018 JD 333G skid steer pictured below, with only 42 hours on it, 90" bucket, back up camera, Anti Theft pkg., weights, sold for $75,000.
$75,000 is the 2nd highest auction sale price I’ve ever seen on a Skid steer.

Interesting story you may recall on No. 1 highest auction price Skid Steer in our list…a special one of a kind 2011 CaseIH SV250 “Red Power” skid steer with only 39 hours on it sold for $77,500 on an FFA benefit auction by Purple Wave Auction on September 30, 2012. Red LED underlighting, custom red leather seat, and lots of chrome of course. This promotional skid steer did the farm show circuit back then, perhaps you recall seeing it up close. Here are a few pics.
The 3rd highest auction sale price in our list was another JD 333G, sold earlier this year on a February 4, 2019 farm auction in Quincy, MI for $73,500 by Schrader Real Estate & Auction (www.schraderauction.com). Here’s a picture of it.
