Last Tuesday (December 10, 2019) I was in northwest Ohio filming a farm retirement auction for our Machinery Pete TV show (www.MachineryPete.com/mptv). Super clean line of “1 owner” equipment on this sale for Jack and Renee Cox.
Hottest item on the sale? Easy. The 2001 JD 8410T track tractor with 2691 hours sold for $68,000. That was the Highest auction sale price on an 8410T in 8 1/2+ years. As I’ve been saying/writing for a good while now…used track tractors in good condition with low hours are HOT SELLERS. Of course not too surprising given #Harvest 18, #Plant19 and #Harvest19.
More proof came last night (December 17, 2019) on the online farm auction for Dean Karau in south-central Minnesota by our friends at The Steffes Group. Dean’s 2001 JD 8410T pictured below, with 6607 hours, sold for $70,000.
