Great story on the top of the heap auction price 1970’s combines sold the past 2 years, the 1975 JD 4440 with only 480 actual hours sold for $13,000 with no heads on a 9/1/18 farm auction in Grand Island, Neb. By the way…update to blog I posted last week, also selling on this Monday, May 4th online auction by Zielsdorf Auction & Real Estate Services, from the same seller of the sweet 1974 IHC 715 gas combine with low hours near Blue Earth, MN is an amazing 1982 JD 4240 tractor with only 980 actual “1 owner” hours, power shift. Online bid on it already up to $32,000 as of this late this afternoon. Will it set a new record 4240 price? Stay tuned.
