Wow, our ag sector been on a whipsaw here since July 1 in terms of commodity price movements and ups and downs with the trade war with China and weather issues.
So, how have used farm equipment values been holding up? In general, my take was that July was a strong month in terms of buyer demand and pricing seen on good condition used equipment. Here’s a look at the 10 highest auction sale prices on Tractors since July 1, 2019:

Here’s a picture of the highest seller, a 2018 John Deere 9520R 4WD with only 156 hours sold for $331,383 (U.S. - $435,000 CAD) on a 7/11/19 farm auction in southeast Saskatchewan, a sale by our friends at Ritchie Bros. (www.rbauction.com).
