What is the best hay tractor?
Depends what exactly you’re doing with it and what your budget is.
I don’t know what you’re doing, baling, all preparation etc. but, as a small time farmer in the Northeast, we use an 85hp International that can cut, ted, bale and draw wagons without difficulty. I think I like this one because it’s easy to get on/off, visibility is great, has a roof to keep the sun away and is easily serviced. This is not a new tractor and has no computers or puzzles that require special mechanics. I am surer if you ask your neighbors they may be loyal to a certain brand. We have several different brand tractors here but each has a comfortable purpose and that’s why we keep them around. Hope this helps. MHC-NY
