If you could have any tractor, what would it be?
John Deere Model D, drove a 1929 up to the last 1948,
I’ll keep dreaming of the autonomous machines that have been “right around the corner” for years.
Case7120. Reliable, efficient and affordable.
7120 Magnums…classic. Here’s pic of the highest auction price 7120 ever, a 1990 model with 1,570 hours sold for $69,000 on a 9/11/15 farm auction in Pinconning, MI, sold by my friends at Sykora Auction Service:

JD 730 Diesel row crop. Always thought they were a well built tractor, with plenty of power for the time. Never had the pleasure of using one, but enjoy watching them at the local tractor pulls.
Fendt 1050, versatility, power, and just cool
Mine would be aa IH 3588 2+2. I think they really neat. I worked at a dealership and got to demo them for customers. The more you drove them , the easier to maneuver
I would love to have a International 1468 or Deere 4020.
I’d like to have a JD 6030.
I’d like to have a Johndeere A.
A John Deere 7410 with a left hand reverser and 740 loader. I think that era of tractors were the best. All the creature comforts and not too much electronics or emission gadgets.
Here’s Youtube video I posted last fall, Galva, IL man, huge IHC collector, he owns the 1st SN# IHC 3588. In the video the IHC 3588 is featured beginning at the 2:58 mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wCq2gJtjGk&t=197s

Always had a thing for the high horsepower V 8 units like an 8850 or 4994.
Modern unit would be Claas Xerion
Did you see the JD 8850 with 0 hours on Kinze repower that sold on 3/8/17 auction in eastern Iowa for record price of $71,000? Here’s video I shot of it selling…was TON of interest in the tractor:

I may see them at Red Power next week in Des Moines. I plan on taking my 350 Hi-utility to display
