As I’ve been saying all throughout 2020…seeing HOT sale prices on used 2WD tractor models that also are were made in MFWD configuration.
2WD models in good condition with some age on them…RED HOT.
Like the 1990 JD 4455 2WD with 5278 hours sold for $49,500 Saturday (November 21, 2020) on a farm auction in north-central Iowa. The sale was by Ryerson Auction & Realty Ltd. (www.ryersonauctionrealtyltd.com). Here’s a picture of it. What a beauty.
$49,500 is the 5th Highest auction sale price on a 2WD 4455 in 3 years.

Another hot selling 2WD tractor on the north-central Iowa farm auction Saturday was this 1997 JD 8100 2WD with 3258 hours, sold for $57,500. That is the 2nd Highest auction sale price on a 2WD JD 8100 in 7 years and 9 mo (Feb. 2013).

Also sold on the sale Saturday…1971 JD 4020 diesel with 6838 hours and JD 148 loader for $17,000.
