Very sharp. The 1998 John Deere 8300 MFWD tractor with 4,434 hours, Power Shift, sold yesterday (August 1, 2019) on the Darwin D. Hill farm auction in Dows, IA is the sharp tractor I’m talking about. The sale was by my long time friends at Ryerson Auction & Realty (www.ryersonauctionrealtyltd.com/). Here’s a picture of it:
It sold for $75,000.
$75K is the highest auction sale price so far this year on a John Deere 8300 and also the 5th highest auction price the past 33 mo.

Another interesting tractor on the Dows, IA farm auction yesterday was this 1996 John Deere 8100 2WD with 4,210 hours sold for $48,250:
$48,250 is the highest auction sale price on a 2WD model John Deere 8100 in almost exactly 2 years, since an August 10, 2017 farm auction in Moweaqua, IL where a 1997 model 2WD with only 2,692 hours sold for $48,500.
