John Deere 8300 Tractor Sold for Record Price on Illinois Auction - 8100-8770-9620 Also Sold High

20 years ago this month, on a September 14, 2001 dealer auction in Pipestone, MN my good friends at the Steffes Group (www.steffesgroup.com) sold a 1996 JD 8300 MFWD with 1864 hours for $62,000. That was then.

Flash forward 20 years.

This is now. The same same auction firm, The Steffes Group, last month on an August 18, 2021 online farm estate auction in Monroe Center, IL sold a 1995 JD 8300 MFWD with 875 actual hours for $117,000. Here’s a picture.

Yep, another new RECORD PRICE there. By mile actually. $117,000 is $12,000 over the previous record auction price on a JD 8300 tractor…$105,000 on an Indiana farm auction nearly 10 years ago.
