Last month there was the 2018 JD 9620RX with 623 hours and remaining warranty sold for $407,000 on an online farm estate auction in northeast Illinois - Highest auction sale price I’ve ever seen on any modern Tractor. This past Friday (July 24, 2020) there was a record auction price on the 2014 JD 8270R tractor only 232 hours sold for $189,000 on farm retirement auction in northwest Wisconsin. Then yesterday (July 25, 2020) on a large consignment auction in northeast Missouri, another record high auction price…$86,000 on the 1993 JD 7800 2WD Tractor with just 360 hours. All eye opening new record high auction sale prices.
But…
Not as eye opening as the new record high auction sale price this past Thursday (July 23, 2020) on an old John Deere 24T square baler sold on an online auction in Sharon, IA by our friends at Dream Dirt Auctions. Here’s a picture of it.
SOLD: $6,825
For perspective here folks, the Avg. Auction Price on the past (56) JD 24T square balers sold at auction over the past 3 years, including this record setter Thursday, is $1,211.

Actually, good used smaller capacity Hay Equipment has been RED HOT here in 2020 so far.
