Despite sagging price of corn and soybeans here early in '24 farmer buyer demand for the nicest condition pre-DEF, pre Tier iV Tractors just continues to ratchet higher and higher. More proof yesterday, April 4, 2024, on the Kenny Menke farm estate auction in Hartley, IA by my friends at VanderWerff & Associates (www.vw72.com). Below are a few sale highlights.
2001 JD 8410 with 2557 hours, sold: $157,500

Very interesting to note the only 8410 ever sold higher at auction was just 2 weeks ago, on March 23, 2024 sale in Herreid, SD where a 2001 model with 5273 hours sold for $172,000. Below is a picture of it.

Prior to that 8410 last month on the SD sale the record high auction price on a JD 8410 had been $141,000, set on a Carey, OH auction just over a year ago, 12/10/22.
