Congrats go out tonight to Lyle and Sherril Wegele of Jansen, Neb. Their online farm retirement auction was today (August 16, 2022), by our friends at Sullivan Auctioneers (www.sullivanauctioneers.com).
Quite a send off.
Particularly the Wegele’s JD 8230 tractor, which sold for a new record high auction sale price.
2007 JD 8230 with 2393 hours, sold: $176,000
$176K topped the former record high auction price on an 8230 of $175,000, set just 2 months ago on a 6/23/22 Clear Lake, MN farm auction, another 2007 model, that one with nearly exactly the same hours: 2375.
