IHC 1066 Tractor Sold For Record Auction Price Today - By Mile!

Whoa…

I’ve been compiling auction sale prices daily now for 30+ years. Not too often I get completely blown away. But definitely did today (August 14, 2020), on the beautiful IHC 1066 tractor, 2nd owner, with only 794 hours, sold on the Kenneth and Kristopher Arens estate auction in Hartington, Neb. by our friends at CHJ Auctioneers (www.chjauctioneers.com). Here’s a picture of it.

SOLD: $46,000!

That price includes the $1,000 buyer’s premium.

$46K is a whopping $19K over the previous record high auction sale price I’d seen on an IHC 1066.

The 1066 wasn’t the only STRONG sale price on today’s auction in Hartington, Neb. The 1969 IHC 856 with only 2950 hours pictured below sold for $19,750. That is the 2nd Highest auction price I’ve ever seen on an 856, bested only by a 1967 IHC 856 LP Hi Clearance sold for $30,450 on 11/8/19 Mecum Gone Farmin’ collector auction in Davenport, IA.
