Ask Machinery Pete: Super Low Hour Farmall H

Interesting question came in today via Facebook…Attention all you Farmall Fanatics out there, this ones for you.

ASK MACHINERY PETE - From Tom S. - Rochester, IN: " Pete, I have a 1942 Farmall H I bought from my neighbor, the original owner, in 1972. I have probably put less than 100 hours on it since then. It sat up in our old banked Barn (built 1871) for over 30 years. How can I tell how many hours on it? It could be one of the lowest housed H’s out there. Still has I believe the original tires, U S Royal brand. Originally was on steel then converted to rubber after WW II. I think the tires have 1946 on them.
Any info would help. Thanks
"

Here are pair of pics Tom sent of his 1942 Farmall H.
