Case in point, the 1983 IHC 5488 tractor with 6731 hours sold for $51,500 back on November 30, 2021 online farm auction in Ogden, IA by Sullivan Auctioneers (www.sullivanauctioneers.com). $51,500 broke a record price that had stood for exactly 21 years, and not only broke it, smashed it by $17,500.
Yesterday that $51,500 record price was obliterated on an online farm auction in Conquest, SK by our friends at Ritchie Bros Auctioneers (www.rbauction.com). Here’s the tale of the tape.
