Whew.
3 more new record high auction prices clocked in today, April 21, 2023, on the Ray and Jo Junck farm retirement auction in Carroll, Neb. by good folks at Creamer Auction Co. (www.creamerauctions.com). Here’s the scoop:
JD 7330 Premium with 1659 hours, loader, sold: $149,000
Pete’s Note: “$149,000 is new record high auction price on JD 7330 - by $6,000”
Interesting I think to note the former record high auction price on a JD 7330 was $143,000 set on 8/25/21 auction in Strawberry Point, IA on a 7330 with only 366 hours and loader. If 7330 with 1659 hours sold for $149,000 today…how much Higher would the 8/25/21 7330 with loader and only 366 hours go for today…$160K? $165K? $170K?
2002 JD 7410 with 1797 hours, loader, sold: $104,500
Pete’s Note: “$104,500 is new record high auction price on JD 7410 - by $13,000”

Of course the ever RISING price of New equipment continues (has always) to push UP on the value of good used equipment. I’ve seen this symbiotic relationship at work daily the past 33+ years covering the farm and construction equipment markets…but the added lighter fluid to rising used values the past 2 years of course has been the historic tightness with used equipment inventories + the pinched in supply of new iron due to the pandemic and supply chain mess.
