1970 Chevy K5 Blazer, sold: $35,000
Pete’s Note: “Refurbished by Blacksmith Garage including a professional grade paint job. Everything was gone through and sorted to provide the buyer with off road and/or daily driver enjoyment. ?ENGINE: The 383 stroker motor starts easily and runs perfectly. The motor is fitted with an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold, Edelbrock model 1825 650 cfm 4bbl carburetor and Edelbrock air cleaner, valve covers and long tube headers. ?DRIVETRAIN: ?The engine is mated to a TH350 transmission and NP205 transfer case. After owning it for 18 years and 60,000 miles he sold his beloved FJ in 1997 to his good friend and co-worker at the base who also was a Navy fighter pilot and flew F-4s in Vietnam then the F-14 Tomcat. After retirement, he became an F-18 Hornet instructor at NAS Oceana where it resided for the last 24 years and 15,000 pampered miles. It was his baby that he tried to keep in perfect original condition and has never spent a night outside the garage.
