If you’re going to the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville this coming week, you’re going to need to stop by Booth #2801-2802…to see a custom built 1/2 scale JD 4020 Wheatland tractor that is going to be sold on the Mecum Gone Farmin’ auction (www.mecum.com/tractors) in Davenport, IA November 2020. All proceeds from the sale of this super cool mini 4020 Wheatland are going to FFA. Here are a few pics.
This amazing custom build job was done by Midwest Super Cub, Inc. of Welton, IA. Here’s word from Midwest Super Cub, Inc. President, Julian Stahl.
“We have teamed up with the National FFA Foundation to raise some money for future farmers of America,” said Stahl.
“We have built a 1/2 scale John Deere 4020 Wheatland model and our plan is to have it at the Mecum Gone Farmin’ Auction event in November of 2020 in Davenport, IA. We will also have this tractor on display in our booth at the National Farm Machinery Show in February of 2020 located in Louisville, KY. Our booth # is 2801 - 2802. With the Mecum Auction we are having this tractor as featured tractor for the event. Our intentions are to donate all the profits from this tractor to the FFA. We want to give the winning buyer the option to donate the profits to the local FFA chapter of their choice and if not it will go to the National FFA Foundation. So far we have over 700 hours of labor putting this project together.”
Stop by Booth #2801-2802 at the show in Louisville next week to get an up close look at this beauty. Take a selfie or 2, show your friends. And get ready to bid on it come Nov. ‘20 at the Mecum Gone Farmin’ auction, on national TV!, to help raise needed $$$ for FFA.
We all know that the kids are our future. And we all know the incredible work FFA does, both nationally and at the local level for ag education.
Here’s your chance to help out.
