2002 John Deere 7610 Tractor Sold for Record Price Yesterday at Auction

Wow.

About all you can say. Another new record high auction sale price recorded yesterday (May 18, 2019) in Jud, ND on a 2002 John Deere 7610 tractor with loader and only 650 actual hours on it. Here's a picture of it:

Sale price: $110,000. Big Thank You to Machinery Pete Facebook follower Jared S. for the report.

How high is $110K? Well, the prior highest auction sale price I've seen on a John Deere 7610 tractor was $90,000, all the way back on an April 2, 2012 farm auction in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, Canada. That 7610 was a 2000 model with 1,256 hours and also sold with a loader.

So full 7 years later, the 7610 sold on the North Dakota auction yesterday with 600 fewer hours sold for $20K more.

Interesting to note about the auction yesterday in Jud, ND (southeast North Dakota), there was NO online bidding and actually only a couple machinery items on the whole sale...but still, motivated buyers found and aggressively bid on this 17 year old like new loader tractor.

And of course the refrain to those who think $110K is way too high...what's a New 120 - 140 Horsepower Tractor with loader cost? And let's not forget the 2002 model John Deere 7610 sold yesterday was of course a Pre Emission tractor. No DEF.

For context, the Avg. Auction Price of the last (17) John Deere 7610's sold = $31,874. This includes the $110K 7610 sold yesterday. The current Avg. Dealer Advertised Price on John Deere 7610's = $46,262. Here's a look at the highest ever auction sale prices on John Deere 7610's:
