1992 White 170 Workhorse with 1,139 hours, 1 owner, sold for $51,000 yesterday (August 28, 2019) on the annual Pre-Harvest Consignment Auction by our friends at Wieman Land & Auction in Marion, SD (www.wiemanauction.com). Here’s a picture…what a beauty!!
Previous record high auction sale price on a White 170 tractor was $48,000 on a 10/15/14 consignment auction in Milford, IL by Mowrey Auction Company (www.mowreyauction.com). That 170 Workhorse had 3,500 hours and was also MFWD.
“It ended up going to eastern Iowa,” said Derek Wieman of the record setting 170. “The gentleman that bought it has a White 125 his dad bought new with 4,000 hours.”
Wow…that is quite the pair of White Tractors!
“We had a little over 1,500 registered bidders on site and just under 600 online,” said Wieman. “It was the biggest crowd we’ve had in 10 years.”
