A pair of 2013 model JD 9560RT track tractors sold very high today (September 3, 2019) on the Ruter Farms retirement auction in Kanawha, IA (north-central Iowa). The sale was by our friends at Sullivan Auctioneers (www.sullivanauctioneers.com).
They sold for $250,000 and $220,000 and had 2,070 and 2,314 hours respectively. $250K is the highest auction sale price on a JD 9560RT tractor in 33 months, since a 2014 model 9560RT with only 1,179 hours and PowerGuard Warranty for nearly 2 years/2,000 Hours sold for the exact same money, $250,000, on a December 21, 2016 online auction in northwest North Dakota.

Couple trends upheld on this Kanawha, IA farm retirement auction today. I’ve been reporting for quite a while now that good used track tractors have been in high demand. Obviously $250K and $220K for pair of 2K+ hour JD 9560RT’s is pretty strong. But again, note, they were in very good condition.
Another trend upheld on today’s auction…good used Tillage equipment has been HOT. Catching my eye on the auction today was this 2013 JD 2410 52’ chisel plow set up for NH3 sold for $47,000:
