September of 1990. On a farm auction in southeast Minnesota, a 1975 Massey Ferguson 1085 tractor with 3,507 hours in good condition, M&W turbo, ROPS canopy, sold for $6,200. Good solid tractor. Good solid price.

We find ourselves at the Hoyt Farms auction in west-central Illinois (Colchester, IL) by Sullivan Auctioneers (http://www.sullivanauctioneers.com). Another good condition Massey Ferguson 1085 tractor is up for sale, this one a 1974 model showing 3,243 hours, open station, repainted. Here's a picture of it.
