Massey Ferguson 1085 Tractor Sold for Record Price Saturday

Walk back in time with me here folks...

September of 1990. On a farm auction in southeast Minnesota, a 1975 Massey Ferguson 1085 tractor with 3,507 hours in good condition, M&W turbo, ROPS canopy, sold for $6,200. Good solid tractor. Good solid price.

Ok, now let's leave our time machine and come back to today, or more specifically to this past Saturday, January 12, 2019. We find ourselves at the Hoyt Farms auction in west-central Illinois (Colchester, IL) by Sullivan Auctioneers (http://www.sullivanauctioneers.com). Another good condition Massey Ferguson 1085 tractor is up for sale, this one a 1974 model showing 3,243 hours, open station, repainted. Here's a picture of it.
