I drove to Ridgeway, IA to cover and film a very nice farm retirement auction by great team at Sweeney Auction Service. Everything sold very strong on that sale, including the headline tractor, a 2004 JD 8120 with 1033 hours. It sold for a record high auction sale price of $138,000. That $138,000 record sale price lasted for nearly 10 1/2 years. Until Wednesday of this week, when the 8120 pictured below, with pushing 3 times as many hours, sold on the Doug Gilbert online farm auction in Warren, IN by Sullivan Auctioneers (www.sullivanauctioneers.com).
