JD 2355 with only 89 Hours Sold Today on Indiana Auction

This may be a new definition of “Parade Ready”.

A JD 2355 2WD tractor with only 89 actual hours sold today on Ted Everett Equipment consignment auction in Monrovia, IN (www.tedeverett.com). This tractor was won in the “Monrovia Festival” new back in 1992 and its main use since then, when it came out of its heated garage, was to drive in the annual parade.

It sold for $23,500. Here are a few pictures of it (Big Thank You to Facebook follower Dale Lind for the great pics and sale price report!).

$23,500 is the highest auction price ever on a 2WD JD 2355, also the highest auction price ever on a 2355 sold without a loader.

The only JD 2355 ever sold higher at auction…a 1991 model 2355 MFWD with 2024 hours and a JD 245 loader with 7’ bucket, sold for $36,500 on a 1/3/15 farm auction in Havana, IL by Sullivan Auctioneers (www.sullivanauctioneers.com). Here’s a picture of it.
