The 2003 JD 6420 tractor with only 156 actual original hours on it and JD 640 loader and grapple from C&B Operations (www.deerequipment.com) in Mitchell, SD sold yesterday (August 17, 2021) on our 1st Machinery Pete Monthly Online Auction for a new record high auction sale price.
SOLD: $91,500.
That’s a whopping $16,500 over the prior record high auction sale price of $75,000 which was just set earlier this year on a 3/6/21 farm auction in Swanville, MN…that 6420 was a 2003 model, MFWD, 1142 hours, with JD 640 loader, 1 owner. The 4th highest selling 6420 at auction also sold this year, on a 6/2/21 online auction from Nebraska.

Good condition used loader tractors like this have really been HOT sellers here since Fall '20 and honestly, they just appear to be getting HOTTER and HOTTER. Just last month on a 7/8/21 farm retirement auction in southwest MN this 2009 JD 6430 Premium with 988 hours and loader sold for $114,000…that was $15,250 over the prior record high auction price on 6430 Premium with loader - $98,750 on a December 2012 auction in Benson, MN (Machinery Pete Hometown!).
