1st IHC 1086 Made Sold Tonight on Minnesota Collector Online Auction - Record Price By Mile

Ok, I think THIS record price will last a while.

For the 3rd time in the past 20 days a new record high auction sale price was set on an IHC 1086 tractor, the latest time tonight (Sept. 5, 2023) on the online collector auction for my good friend and IHC Tractor/collector legend Danny Anderson of Pine Island, MN. Danny is known to all the the RED collector community as “Dirt Boyz”. A nicer fella you’ll never find.

Danny’s 1086 sold on tonight’s auction…THE VERY 1ST 1086 EVER MADE - SN# 8601. It had only 6065 actual hours on it.

1976 IHC 1086 with 6065 hours, 1st 1086 made, sold: $67,650

Like I said, I think Danny Anderson’s 1086 record price just may last a while…forever? We’ll see. Oh and here’s a Machinery Pete Youtube video 10 1/2 years ago in March of '13 I did with Danny about the 1st 1086 made:

Couple other eye grabbers on Danny’s online collector auction tonight:

As I’m writing this blog still waiting on pair of Farmall 1206 Prototype tractors to sell, SN# 505 and 508. Online bidding up to $25,000 and $31,500. That’s before the 10% buyer’s fee.
