# Spotlight on CaseIH 8950 Tractors

I've seen a lot of TV shows and movies lately focused on the '90's.

When I think of the 1990's and tractors, one of the models that jumps to mind is the Case IH 8950. Made for just a couple years right at the end of the '90's, the 250 horsepower 8950 model has proved to be quite popular and retained a strong reputation two decades on.

So, how are Case IH 8950's selling today? The Avg. Auction Price on the past 12 sold = $42,667, with a high of $62,500 and a low of $23,000. Here's a look at the last 5 sold at auction:

The highest auction sale price I've ever seen on a Case IH 8950? That would be $90,000 for a very nice 1999 model with 3,325 hours sold on a farm auction in northeast Pennsylvania back on March 1, 2014. Here's video of it selling...note how very determined the winning bidder was as it came down the wire:
