Same with Used.

Tonight I dug into our [www.MachineryPete.com](http://www.MachineryPete.com) auction sale price data going back 30 years, to 1990, and pulled together here a fascinating hard cash look at indeed how incredibly used Tractor values have climbed over the years. Sink your teeth into these numbers:

**HIGHEST TRACTOR AUCTION PRICES - MARCH 1990**

- $44,500: JD 4450 MFWD with 1289 hours, farm auction, west-central Wisconsin
- $42,500: JD 4650 MFWD, ? hours, farm auction, southeast South Dakota
- $41,000: 1987 JD 4450 2WD with 300 hours, farm auction, west-central Minnesota

So from high auction sale Tractor price of $44,500 30 years ago, to $110,000 20 years ago, to $227,500 10 years ago…and $385,200 today.

Wow.
