**Could be some hot online bidding on this sale.**

The Donald Schloot online farm retirement auction this coming Wedesday (December 30, 2020) in Sullivan, IN by my long time auctioneer friend Jeff Boston with Jeff Boston Auction Service. Not a large farm auction here, but a pair of very low hour, 1 owner John Deere tractors and a 6-row planter with very low use. Here’s link to the sale listing: [https://bostoncentury.hibid.com/catalog/251909/schloot-farm-retirement-auction/](https://bostoncentury.hibid.com/catalog/251909/schloot-farm-retirement-auction/)

**1986 JD 4850 2WD with 2847 hours, 1 owner**

Of course we don’t see ton of 2WD 4850’s floating around. Made from 1983-1988 the vast majority of 4850’s were MFWD. Here’s a look at the Highest auction sale prices I’ve seen the past 21 years on 2WD 4850’s.

Here’s a pic of the 2nd highest selling 4850 2WD at auction, **1988 model with 2390 hours sold for $41,750** on 12/7/12 farm auction in Wataga, IL.

Overall the Highest auction sale price ever on a JD 4850 is **$61,500 for a 1984 model MFWD 4850 with 3027 hours on a 7/6/17 farm auction in Bradford, IL**. Here’s a picture of it.

Another very low hour tractor on the Donald Schloot online farm retirement auction in Sullivan, IN on December 30, 2020 is this **1991 JD 2955 2WD with 2564 hours, 1 owner.**

**HIGHEST AUCTION PRICES EVER ON JD 2955 TRACTORS**

Note that the record high auction sale price on JD 2955’s ($41,000) was just set earlier this year, on a 2/3/20 dealer auction in Leesburg, IN for Polk Equipment, Inc. Also note that 1996 model 2WD 2955 did sell with a JD 265 Loader. Here’s a picture of that pristine condition “1 owner” tractor from a local estate.

The other piece of equipment on the Donald Schloot online farm retirement auction Dec. 30 in Sullivan, IN that caught my eye was this **JD 7200 6-row planter with only 2300 acres use in its life, 1 owner.**

Just 10 days ago, on a December 16, 2020 farm auction in Peach Bottom, PA, a very sharp JD 7200 6-row planter sold for $16,600…the Highest auction price on a 6-row JD 7200 planter in nearly 6 years. Here’s a picture of it.
