20 years ago this month, on a September 14, 2001 dealer auction in Pipestone, MN my good friends at the Steffes Group ([www.steffesgroup.com](http://www.steffesgroup.com)) sold a 1996 JD 8300 MFWD with 1864 hours for $62,000. That was then. Flash forward 20 years. This is now. The same same auction firm, The Steffes Group, last month on an August 18, 2021 online farm estate auction in Monroe Center, IL sold a 1995 JD 8300 MFWD with 875 actual hours for $117,000. Here’s a picture. ![JD8300-IL-$117K](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/7/7691566eb617532a75f8014e89010777c31ddb26.jpeg) Yep, another new RECORD PRICE there. By mile actually. $117,000 is $12,000 over the previous record auction price on a JD 8300 tractor…$105,000 on an Indiana farm auction nearly 10 years ago. **HIGHEST AUCTION PRICES EVER ON JD 8300 TRACTORS** ![JD8300-Highest-9-21](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/2/239c1d0e0e927d4c0f024f7332a3ba175a542aba.jpeg) But check out these other JD Tractors sold on the Jon Swanson online farm estate auction August 18, 2021 in Monroe Center, IL: **1998 JD 8100 with 1996 hours, sold: $103,000** ![JD8100-IL-$103K](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/9/94fbf12e04b8db204bb96f3ab69a084010495217.jpeg) **Pete’s Note:** “_$103K is 3rd highest auction ever on 8100 and the highest price in 8 years_” **HIGHEST AUCTION PRICES EVER ON JD 8100 TRACTORS** ![JD8100-Highest-9-21](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/f/f515d25a90f6e189762d71f578d2b59ff7646c72.jpeg) **2006 JD 9620 4WD with 922 hours, sold: $195,000** ![JD9620-IL-$195K](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/8/8492f84506abbfd539f12cd8ebcc58a28aceb817.jpeg) **Pete’s Note:** “_$195K is tied for 2nd highest auction price ever on JD 9620_” **HIGHEST AUCTION PRICES EVER ON JD 9620 TRACTORS** ![JD9620-Highest-9-21](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/e/ebbe557e3387d42da861a79d9e806cb1fdc72fc4.jpeg) **1993 JD 8770 4WD with 1836 hours, sold: $89,500** ![JD8770-IL-$89500](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/5/5be14f8c1c0b2d591e32fda5f060645652ba4e0a.jpeg) **Pete’s Note:** “_$89,500 is 2nd highest auction price ever on 8770 and highest price in 9 1/2 years_” **HIGHEST AUCTION PRICES EVER ON JD 8770 TRACTORS** ![JD8770-Highest-9-21](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/2/274a4f995f477d2f51bd832152b00296bd869c35.jpeg) The combine also sold very strong on this sale… **1999 JD 9610 with 1801 engine hours, sold: $54,000** ![JD9610-IL-$54K](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/f/fe45d7b21793dfb16a6db07eaa1871f404005c11.jpeg) **Pete’s Note:** “_$54K is tied for 2nd highest auction price past 4 years on a JD 9610 combine_” **HIGHEST AUCTION PRICES PAST 4 YEARS ON JD 9610 COMBINES** ![JD9610-HighestPast4Years-9-21](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/machinerypete/original/2X/2/239eb8029deb32b0239b84ebe2768984535d5098.jpeg) View full sale price report from Jon Swanson online farm estate auction 8/18/21 in Monroe Center, IL: [tinyurl.com/MachineryPete-ILSaleHotPrices](http://tinyurl.com/MachineryPete-ILSaleHotPrices) **"Tractor Specs"** on all Makes/Models: [Tractor Specs | Machinery Pete](https://www.machinerypete.com/specs) View Auction Prices for FREE here, updated daily: [www.MachineryPete.com/auction\_results](http://www.MachineryPete.com/auction_results) Pete Machinery Pete [www.MachineryPete.com](http://www.MachineryPete.com)
