I’ve documented (322) JD 6420 Tractors sold at auction the past 19 years since they came out in 2002.

New record high auction sale price was set Saturday (March 6, 2021).

The **2003 JD 6420 with 1142 hours, 1 owner, with JD 640 loader pictured below sold for $75,000** on the Milo Hartwig farm estate auction in Swanville, MN by our good friends at Mid American Auction Inc ([www.midamericanauctioninc.com](http://www.midamericanauctioninc.com)).

$75K topped the previous record high auction sale price on a JD 6420 with loader of $73,000 nearly 6 years ago on an April 15, 2015 farm auction in Leroy, MI on a 6420 with loader and only 924 hours.

My friend Joe Gill, Program Director with KASM Radio ([www.mykasm.com](http://www.mykasm.com)) in Albany, MN said, “_Pete, Al (Auctioneer Al Wessel) said they had 700 on site bidders and 200 online bidders._”

So 2 trends continued here:

1. Reports of HUGE crowds at machinery auctions around the country the past week
2. Auction prices on good condition used Tractors remain **RED HOT**
