One of the coolest annual auctions on the calendar…Polk Auction’s ([www.polkauction.com](http://www.polkauction.com)) 36th Annual Labor Day Weekend Collector Sale in New Paris, IN.

Yesterday (August 31, 2019) this beautiful 1969 John Deere 5020 with V8 GM conversion and new 24.5-32 duals sold for $33,000:

$33,000 is the 4th highest auction sale price I’ve seen on a John Deere 5020. Here’s a look at the Top 10 highest auction sale prices ever.

The record holder 5020 sold on an amazing collector auction I covered in Bedford, IA back on June 28, 2014, the Keane Thummel collector sale by Polk Auction. Here’s Youtube video I filmed that day of some amazing tractors selling, including the 1970 John Deere 5020 with factory cab and Kinze 318 diesel conversion selling for $47,000: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOPPabjeJTU&t=16s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOPPabjeJTU&t=16s)
