My friend Jeff Boone with Jeff Boone & Associates Auction & Realty ([www.jeffbooneauctions.com](http://www.jeffbooneauctions.com)) runs fantastic auction events at their Markleville, IN sale facility. Another one today, February 12, 2022, where another tractor sold for new record price.

The previous high auction sale price I’d ever seen on a JD 4955 2WD was 9+ years ago, back on a 12/7/12 auction in Syracuse, IN where a 1991 JD 4955 2WD with 4600 hours sold for $54,000. Here’s a look at the highest ever auction sale prices on JD 4955 MFWD models.

Note the record holder 4955 sold for $84,750 was just late last July on 7/22/21 farm auction in Harley, IA…1991 model 4955 with 6806 hours. Here’s a picture of it. Beauty.
