# John Deere 4760 Tractor Sold on Iowa Auction Today - 2nd Highest Price Ever

What a beauty.

The JD 4760 with 5700 hours off the Gary Hanus farm retirement line from Traer, IA sold today, March 3, 2022, on Joel’s Tractors & Auction huge consignment auction in Strawberry Point, IA ([www.everitttractors.com](http://www.everitttractors.com)). Here’s a picture of it.

**SOLD: $91,500.**

2nd Highest auction sale price ever on JD 4760.

Of course the only 4760 ever sold higher at auction is the famous **1992 model with only 3.6 original, actual hours on it that sold for a whopping $197,028 (U.S) on a 10/28/20 auction in Speers, SK** by Ritchie Bros. If you don’t recall the “story” on it, a partial owner of a John Deere dealership bought it new in 1992 and simply put it away in the shed…as an investment. And there it sat for 28 years.
