# John Deere 4455 and 4440 Sold High Today on Iowa Farm Auction - Also New Holland 8870A

I blogged about this sale the other day…the Robert and Ann Peterson farm auction today, September 28, 2021, in Aurelia, IA, sale by my friends at the Iowa Auction Group ([www.iowaauctiongroup.com](http://www.iowaauctiongroup.com)).

Thought this would be a HOT sale.

I was right.

**1990 JD 4455 2WD with 2456 hours, 1 owner, sold: $67,000**

**Pete’s Note:** “_New record high auction price here on 8870A model at $88,500. Next highest auction price on 8870A is $69,000 on 8/7/13 Clearmont, MO sale on 2000 model 8870A with 3807 hours. I have seen 1 New Holland 8870 model sold higher auction…6/20/12 Milford, IL auction - New Holland 8870 with only 702 hours sold for $93,000_”
