Knew this pair of sweet JD 4440’s were going to be HOT sellers yesterday, November 17, 2022, on Joel’s Tractors & Auction ([www.everitttractors.com](http://www.everitttractors.com)) consignment sale in Strawberry Point, IA. 1982 model with only 2747 hours and 1978 model with 4900 hours.

**$72,000 + $42,000 = WOW.**

Turns out “HOT” was an understatement. $72,000 is the new all time record high auction sale price on JD 4440 tractors. In case you’re wondering, I’ve now compiled more than 2500 sold over the past 33 years. Here’s another pic of the '82 4440 with 2747 hours sold for $72,000 yesterday.

The Avg. Auction Price on JD 4440’s this year is now up to a whopping $26,754…also a record high. Deere made the iconic 4440 model from 1978-1982.
