Today, January 17, 2023, I was in Brandon, MB speaking to a large farm audience at the Manitoba Ag Days farm show. Great show. Great turnout. I was wrapping up my presentation I told the crowd…“_As I leave the show today and hop in my pickup I know the 1st thing I’m checking on my phone…_.”

How the sharp CaseIH 7130 and 7140 2WD tractors sold today on the Leon Bushue farm retirement auction in Teutoplis, IL by Schmid Auction ([www.schmidonline.com](http://www.schmidonline.com)). I suspected they were going to sell strong.

Bingo.

**Pete’s Note:** “_$57,300 is new record high auction sale price on 2WD 7130 tractor, topping the prior high water mark of $50,500 on a Pesotum, IL farm auction by the same seller - Schmid Auction. That 7130 2WD was a '92 model with only 4119 hours_”

**Pete’s Note:** “_$55,200 is the 2nd highest auction sale price ever on 7140 2WD tractor, trailing only the $61,000 sale price from 11/30/13 farm auction in Neoga, IL on an '88 model 7140 2WD with just 2982 hours_”
