**Ask Pete - From Andrew W. in Illinois:** “_Good Morning Machinery Pete. I was looking at a 1984 John Deere 4450 a friend of mine has for sale. 6000 hours. I didn’t know if you have an average sale price on those with previous auctions? Thank you for your help_.”

Note the High and Low auction sale prices for each calendar year. Pretty interesting, isn’t it, to note that the past 3 years, from 2020 - 2023 the Avg. Auction Price on 4450’s in the 4000-8000 Hour range ran steady from $37,000 - $40,700 and that looking back over the past 14 years that $37,000 - $40,700 range is the Highest ever. As we all know, the used farm equipment market was ON FIRE the past 3 years. More hard proof here.
